We're proud to be hosting the latest talk by renown local historian Sheila Johnston on the History of Atherstone Canal and what its meant to the town.

It'll be taking place at The Kings Head from 7:30PM on Tuesday 25th of June.

Entry is free, but donations are welcome and much appreciated. All proceeds to go to the Friends of Atherstone Heritage, to help continue their great work.

Fun Extra Fact: The photo in the poster is of the original mellow bricked Georgian building of the Kings Head Inn and dates from the 19th Century. Many thanks to the folks at Atherstone Heritage Society who helped dig this up for us.
